Part of the MHB program is an internship, as students choose among the myriad L.A.-based job and internship listings in the following fields: HR, market research, marketing, advertising, PR, social media and management. Here are options from this week:

Global Rotational Intern (apply here)
The Associates Program (Los Angeles, CA)
“TAP summer interns spend 10 to 12 weeks in our Los Angeles offices. They are expected to make a meaningful contribution within one of our key business units, including but not limited to: Marketing, Investment Research, Business Development, Operations, Human Resources, and Information Technology. A structured orientation, business exposure sessions, social events and mentorship offer opportunities to learn from associates at all levels of our organization. Compensation includes a competitive base salary plus relocation and a housing stipend for the summer in Los Angeles.”

“The Verizon Human Resources intern can expect to strategize, plan and execute college hire and intern initiatives, and to build strong relationships with business management to support college initiatives. Duties include: consulting with hiring clients to strategize workforce forecasting and diversity metrics; assisting in development and planning, and leading recruiting workshops for students, interns, new hires and other audiences; developing and fostering relationships with key faculty and other administrative staff of academic departments and career centers, as well as student organizations at targeted schools; and orchestrating and participating in recruiting events.
